A blog which attacks other’s on a painfully regular basis and encourages eating disordered behaviour should not have a place on tumblr.
Adobe announced a proposal for CSS Shaders at Adobe Max two days ago. This was backed by both Opera and Apple, and the spec will be developed by the FX Task Force at the W3C. For those of you who are not aware, the FX task force is an elite band of ninjas’s chosen from the ranks of the CSS…
The Open Web has never had as many capabilities as it has today. We’re seeing an explosion in new or updated specifications, and prototype and stable implementations to go with them. This blog post will look back as the platform we have had available (Called Open Web 0 here) and then looks forward…
Hi honey, I’m home
Today is the day for finding out things. Like that BBC America has a Doctor Who SMS Club, and also:
Things to note:

Badass motherfucker of the century.
THIS KID GIVES ME HOPE.
I never thought I’d be giving huge props to someone named Nekochan, but if that’s the environment she’s in, even having a mild catgirl interest in Japanese culture is kind of a success.
You go, Neko. ^5
Books, Bikes, and Beyond is the operating thrift store of my favorite Richmond non-profit organization, Books on Wheels. Delivered by a neon painted school bus, Books on Wheels specializes in providing free bike repair and books to people in Richmond and surrounding areas. I like Books, Bikes, and Beyond over other thrift stores in the city because the prices aren’t outrageous, it’s still somewhat of a secret meaning that the merchandise isn’t all picked over, and the owner, Shelley Briggs, is one of the coolest people living in the city. Visit the store where books are always free and if you are lucky enough to get a bike, it will be below $40.
Find out more about Books on Wheels and meet the awesome lady that runs the organization later this month!
Books, Bikes, and Beyond is located at 7 West Broad Street and is open late every First Friday!
